Virginia Red is a classic red table wine that goes well with anything and can stand all on its own as well. It is a medium-bodied blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chambourcin.
A favorite among wineries in Virginia. Cabernet Franc is a grape that really showcases Virginia's unique climate and soil conditions. On our estate, we find that we have soils that are optimal for growing spicy, fruit-forward Cabernet. This vintage boasts aromas of maraschino cherries, nutmeg, cocoa powder, and a hint of smoke.
Our Merlot shows the best of our terroir with aromas of black cherry, baking spices, dark cocoa powder, and almonds, making it an instant palate pleaser. Flavors of bold blackberry an dried fruit compliment its velvet-smooth tannins.

100% Chardonnay. Fermented in stainless steel and aged in 3-6 year old barrels. Richly textured nose of pear, citrus, and a touch of butterscotch and cream.

2019 vintage of Meritage highlights Petit Verdot, Cab Franc, from Ox Eye Vineyards. The aromatics strike a classic balance between bright, lifted red fruit (cherry and pomegranate) and earthier, spicier scents of dark roast coffee and chimney soot.
Our Ox-Eye Vineyard Lemberger is similar to an old world Syrah than your average Virginia red. Saturated ruby red in color with notes of raspberry, violet, rose petal, and cracked black pepper. On the palate the wine is remarkably fresh and juicy, with bright cranberry and cherry flavors, a light smokiness on the finish.
Freshness and tropicality are always the defining characteristics of the Zephyr blend. The 2017 vintage continues its course driven by Riesling and Chardonnay, the predominant varietals in this blend. Intense candied fruit aromatics recall notes of honeydew, granny smith apple and pear. On the palate the wine is wonderfully focused, with a keen line of acidity lending structure and definition.
Aged in neutral-oak barrels and stainless steel 2019 , is perhaps the most vivid, vibrant, and complex vintage of this wine to date., replete with apple and stone fruit buoyed by zesty acidity of yeasty richness.
